A friend of mine in Israel sent this to me. It was written by his neighbor:

Publisher’s blurb:

Ayelet, a 17 year old Israeli orthodox young woman meets a 21 year old
yeshiva student by chance. She is very popular, he an outsider with no hope
of attracting her attention in normal circumstances. But Ayelet is a cancer
patient who finds spiritual comfort in his presence, and so develops a
relationship which leads to love. Yet, they will not marry since Ayelet is
going to die, and traditional law forbids even the slightest touch between
the two. The story follows their personal conflicts, and the ups and downs
of their relationship, leading to extraordinary results.

Vice Versa, originally published in Hebrew as HaHefech, received
enthusiastic acclaim in the Israeli press. Now translated into English for
the first time, this work provides a glimpse into the orthodox Jewish
community of Israel, that is rarely seen.
