Unfortunately in smaller libraries, including many synagogue libraries, the
items we are offered are not of the caliber that Yaffa and Zachary mention and
I have found people will not comply when I ask them for a list
The key is to make sure that you have donors sign a written document that
allows you to discard anything that you don't want to keep.

A way to limit the number of books that a synagogue or center
can take is accepting only books by Jewish authors or books with Jewish
contents.
