We have two new posts on the hollander books blog. The first features two
nineteenth century translations into Hebrew. One hebraizes Kalilah and Dimnah
which in turn Farsi-izes The Indian Fables of Bidpai. The other is a re-editing
of a sixteenth century pseudo-Dantean long poem in Hebrew.

The other post features six of the Reports by His Britanic Majesty's Government
to the Council of the League of Nations on the Administration of Palestine and
Trans-Jordan. As the mandatory power assigned at the behest of the doomed
League of Nations Britain was required to present some accounting of the state
of things under their rule.

Our next two posts, not yet online, will feature an article on the Yiddish
language publisher Israel London and his premium editions under the publisher
name Der Kval. The two pieces were both originally prepared by David Mazower
for the Mendele list twelve years ago. The first will be his biographical
article on London and his publishing ventures presented with some illustrations
added. The second will be a sale list and general checklist fully illustrated
and augmented with some additional information on the illustrators. I am very
excited about these future posts.
