My response to this article is to suggest that you read the book I suggested last week: Biblio Tech: Why Libraries Matter More Than Ever in the Age of Google by Jonathan Palfrey. And, I was fortunate to attend the ALA conference in Boston this weekend, and heard Jonathan Zittrain from Harvard Law School talk about Creativity, Innovation and Change: Libraries Transform in the Digital Age! His talk is not posted, yet, but his article from 2014, below, is very similar to what he said this weekend, and is both a wake - up call and inspiring to all of us, I think.
