Regarding named parameters - another option is to use numbered parameters
like :1, :2 etc. It will help with repeated parameters at least. I didn't
understandthe first Bardur's point about different SQL strings though.

On URL http://haskell.org/ I get starting Apache page and 404 on
http://haskell.org/hoogle/
URL with starting www - http://www.haskell.org/ seems to be working but
http://www.haskell.org/hoogle/ responds with some ELF file.

It looks like cabal repl [1] could solve this kind of problems, but it is
not clear when it will be merged in cabal HEAD.

The onlys solution I see at the moment is to get rid of cabal-dev and
install dependencies globally (which works quite OK with gentoo-haskell)
