Levy says he means what he said yesterday about killing Lebanese children

Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy said today he meant what he said
yesterday in the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, about killing Lebanese
children and incinerating the whole of Lebanon.
The Israeli state-run radio today quoted Levy as saying that "what I said
yesterday was not a slip of the tongue nor a bout of anger, I meant what I
said."
Levy said he wanted to sound a warning to all those "who supported
Hizbullah terrorism," adding that his warnings were "receiving listening
ears on the other side."
The Zionist official repeated his threats, saying "if Israeli citizens
were attacked, our reaction would be swift and harsh."
While speaking before the Knesset Wednesday, Levy said "we'll kill
Lebanese children if our citizens were attacked."
Levy's statements were castigated by Arab Knesset members who described
them as "primitive" and "inappropriate for a Foreign Minister."
Observers in Palestine see no surprise in Levy's statements, since killing
Arab civilians has always been a consistent Israeli policy since the
creation of the Zionist regime more than fifty years ago. (end)
