Hi all,
doing some monitoring on the servers we have noticed that srcds does not
co-exist well with other game server software..now it might be a setup
issue our side so any help would be great
just running 5 instances of srcds and having all the servers full, the
cpu load goes to max
since my server is empty almost all the time, I didnot notice in yet. Since
the free weekend started the server is full all day and n8 and I realized
that Maniadmin kicks one player after the other fot being AFK including
myself. Unfortunately all players were active and playing. I deavtivated
Beetlesmod, sourcemod all work with TF2 just fine.

problem.

I bet the reason why, is just running the source servers the fps will
stay at the limited ~80fps or whatever it is, but when you start up
cod4, which in itself changes the multimedia
see what the fps_max is set at.. and run rcon stats in console without
the other servers up.. start the other servers up and do a rcon stats
again, and see what the servers fps is.. if its a lot higher.. then
thats it.

If I start Portal, I see it, and this is without the server browser running.
If I start TF2 or HL2, I don't. It downloads at about 256k, which is enough
to swamp a bottom end DSL connection. Upload is about 150k or so. Curiosier

I started TF2 and watched my bandwidth. Nothing out of the ordinary. Of the
games I've tried, only Portal did it. TF2 works fine for me. Go figure?
I wonder what routers/modems are being used by those that get timed out? I'm
using a Westell 2100, which has a fairly large routing table. My
