The sempron is a throttled version of an xp(or an athlon64). A sempron 2800 theoretically is not going to have the same amount of computational power due to the reduced cache. That being said i do not know how cpu cache dependent the hlds process is so it might be able to and might not. My bets

Is this YET ANOTHER exploit? :( I i don't know if this guy was responsible for the crash, but the logs are suspicious. He was raging my server (TK'ing and being a generally offensive little prick), and then did a retry. Immediately the server crashed with this boggling error message: player:
