Most of us also have compilers, but I'm still unclear on the terms under
which the source code was made available to us.

de_vegas is now working with SourceTV disabled but still crashing with
SourceTV enabled. de_cevo_nighthawk is still crashing.
Another required update for Counter-Strike: Source is now available. This
update includes a few fixes missed from the previous update today. Please
run
I played it yesterday for the first time and also found several
compelling reasons to run a few servers (on Linux of course).
So please Valve, make server binaries available for Linux.

I'm using Wine too. Server is not showing up in Steam Group Servers
and Internet tab because it don't have master servers. If you want to
fix that to swarm/cfg/newmapsettings.cfg add
setmaster add 72.165.61.153:27015
setmaster add 216.207.205.98:27011
setmaster add 216.207.205.99:27011
Note that
I'm running it with wine too. Occasionally it crashes, but all in all
it runs very smooth.

It seems that with the latest version of the HLDS, there is a bug with
the sv_region cvar. If set to 3 (Europe), the server won't be listed in the
serverlist in STEAM. With the default value, 255, the server is at least listed
if you don't filter by region in the Steam server browser. This bug
I may have to consider WINE or I may just let those who want to play in
my group host the game themselves...I will have to talk with the other
Steam Group admins about it :) Though no matter what I can't wait for
native Linux :D
