Update was for clients only. If you have -autoupdate in the command
line, you might experience broken server. This isn't the first time this
kind of thing has happened. Years experience has taught me not to have
it there. Less hassle in the long run.

Just catching up on today's/last-night's thread, but I didn't see any Valve
responses
They already pushed another update to fix it, make sure you remove any
silly workarounds you employed.
