Update glibc and see if that fixes it. Also looks like srcds_i486 is
potentially corrupted. delete the file and initiate a fresh update of the
gameserver. Any missing files will be reinstalled.

I've had this error before and simply deleting the file clientregistry.blob
from the .steam folder will fix it. Just remove it and restart the tf2
server. You'll find the folder in the root of the linux user home folder. It
should fix the issue but can't give any hard promises as I can only

What Shane says... :)
when starting the server ensure you add the parameter +ip xx.xx.xx.xx to bind
the ip you want to use and as an added touch bind the port as well e.g. -port
27015. This way you can find it easy online by searching the ip:port you
specified.

Try updating via the steam executable as opposed to using -autoupdate in the
start script.
e.g. step on folder back from orangebox and run the command ./steam -command

Hope this helps :)

Try running the update on the server manually.
I have this error message sometimes and it's because the -autoupdate part of
the startup script can't do the update for some reason. To get round it, break
out of the server and step one directory back (cd ..) then type:
./steam -command update
Ok updates have been applied both server and client side, but after working
fine until 10 minutes ago (19:00 gmt) the server is crashing out on a looping

I agree - We also run a community based dedicated server and realistically it's
the only way to get enough slots and have a QUALITY connection. Again we also
rely on community donations to maintain the servers.
7000 rate hahahahahahahahahaha. What's the point? Ours is set at 27000 and

commands like -net_queuesplits 0 or -nobots etc. Get it working in basic
form first, then try these extra commands later, one by one.

I had similar issue once with our servers and the only way I got round it was
removing the clientregistry.blob file from the user root .steam folder, then
running an update as normal. I don't know if it will help your situation but
for a minute of your time it won't do any harm to try.
