Hi
I am running a TF2 server on ubuntu, in my case the freezes were
resolved simply by disabling bots from becoming Engineers. some
combination of bots + engineer class + their buildings causes the
server to freeze for me. hope this helps.

Hi,
Anyone else got random crashes with cs-maps? I have debian 4.0 servers
with 2.6.24 kernel and sometimes when cs-map is running, the server
frozes. With de-maps there is no problems. Server hardware is Q6600 with

The bad news is, you may ban a real player as well.
However, i think it's a good idea to whois that IP and write a mail to the

here is something the application throws when it crashes:
./hlds_run: line 423: 4477 Segmentation fault (core dumped)

BTW i have just changed hdd's and reloaded the computer from

I ran a 8 hour stress test on the entire system and it passed so
i am not sure it is hardware.
This is a freshly reloaded system with a new hdd:

Same thing here.. its a user actually doing it and i caint figure out
how he is doing it. i tried banning his ip, and his steam id.. however
he comes back with a new one every 3 seconds...
