Yes. I mentioned this on HLDS. My ctf_2fort servers are dropping players

We are working on a fix. The Steam Service is not used by dedicated servers and
this assert can be ignored for now.

Users getting disconnected with the Invalid STEAM UserID ticket error in TF2
when Steam servers are down is a bug. Users are only supposed to get this type
of disconnect if Steam is up and explicitly tells your server to disconnect a
user. It should be fixed for the next TF2 update.
When steam servers go down it also breaks loadouts until the server is
restarted. Will this be fixed as well?

I'd say it occurs on EVERY Valve game time to time but most recently
only a big issue in TF2. We have to restart our servers to make it go away.

Is this a problem server sides or client sided? For some reason I don't

are your clients that are crashing setting the multicore rendering on? I
have a few people that have turned this one and crash to desktop quite

It has been on CS Source too. Usually its related to certain player only
and he can get rid of it by removing ClientRegistry.blob and restarting
Steam after that. The most funny thing is that when it happens, you can
access to most servers but not all. Its just few of the game servers

Seems the passed 4 days, around 4:00pm valve time, I lose server connection
to steam... so everyone's unlckable weapons don't work, and a lot of people
are dropped with 'no steam logon' reason. Only way to get the connection
back it seems is to restart the server.
Anyone else?

It would be cool if this maintenance was done either early in the

Disagree. If they had been doing it late at night or early morning I may
have been sleeping or something and not able to restart my servers. Doesn't
