Given the tight school budget situation and all the complaints about new horns, I would suggest taking a look at various sources for used instruments. Vintage horns by Reynolds (Chambers and Pottag), Conn (6D), Holton, Yamaha, and King sell on eBay all the time in the $500-$700 range. The

The Hoboken does not include this double concerto ( I checked it), but anyway, it sounds like Haydn. If your librarian orders the parts, he will get only the concerto we all know, no problem. It is part of my publications. BTW: a lot of new titles available: chamber music, double concertos
