Hello, yes the Schmid speaks very easily, too easily, nearly without any resistance. But how about playing piano or pianissimo, when you need a certain resistance. But they are beautiful horns - to look at - but also when played by the right player.## If you are afraid, the horn might be damaged

Matthew said some excellent things here, but there are a lot conductors out there, who should never conduct. They may be nice people - privately - but as soon as they take up the stick, their character is ruined. Transpose the relevant C part for your freshman rewrite it. This avoids problems.
