Hi Ron,
Besides Easytrieve+, do you also have:
Easytrieve+ with SQL Option version 2.4?
If you do, yes there's some type of DB2 bindings that's needed. I'm not a
programmer and the person that knew this stuff, has retired, but I'll ask...

Is there any IBM document that explains the meaning of the System HLQ? For
example, AOP, BPA, CBD, CDS, DTW, EOX, EOY, EUV, EUVF, etc.
Thanks in advance. . .

Scott,
So to paraphrase what you're saying, if I use FRBACKUP to perform the
Flashcopy then I use the DFhsm commands to backup the FRBACKUP volumes,
DFhsm will know that the backup is on flash copied backup. It that correct?

I appreciate the information.

Hi Listeners,
RACF FUNCTION: RACHECK FOR

If you could just point me to the manual that explains the error, that would
be great.

Hi Walt,
Okay I give up. All I know is that without the help of the MVS Listserv I
would have never found it on my own. Using QuickRef I've documented the
IGD308I message to add Return Code 10, Reason Code 1C means user is revoked.

*

but there was
no mention of return code 10.
Just the way I feel...

Is there a parameter that causes data to migrate to level 2 in ARCCMDnn? I
am in the process of bring back all ML2 data back to disk, but I need to
turn off the migration. Can someone help me out, or a least point me to a
manual that explains to process?
Thanks in advance. . .

So Mike, if I were to change the Y to N that would prevent ML2
migration?

Yes, I have enough disk. I doubled the size of what I had before. To answer

The dataset name is DFHSM.HMIGTAPE.DATASET, so I would say it's a HMIG tape.
Should I use the RECYCLE command to copy the data?

Thanks again Chris. Since the original message came from VTAM and I was in
the process of cleaning up the amount of APPLs in ATCCON00, I thought that I
was the cause of the problem.
Another lesson learned...
