I just wanted everyone to know what fantastic response I have been getting from
IBM, EMC and Syncsort on this issue.
IBM and EMC are seeing a channel error and are working on this aspect.
Syncsort did a fantastic job of helping to identify the direction of this error
for me.
Second, out of
EMC support MIDAW but this is what happen to us and it seems we're not the only
one
and detecting the MIDAW feature was easy because I add some code to support
this in SHOWzOS times ago.
It took us some times to find a guy at EMC who understand what
we're talking about :-((( and turn

have to pass an indication of MIDAW
support. EMC did respond pretty quickly to fix the timing issue.

Hi, for some reason nobody turn on this flag in our EMC box (DMX3000 and
DMX2000).
After a long discussion EMC support turn on this flag and now the decive shows
MIDAW enabled.
We running z/OS R7. Any experience in this area? Performance for DB2 or others?
