Reporting on DASD that only have VTOC, VTOCIX and VVDS Left

I am looking to create a report that include VOLSER, UCB and Number of data sets on it. I am trying to identify in our dasd farm the volumes that are empty. IE only have the VVDS and VTOCIX left on them. Any thoughts? I have MXG and SAS, I have looked through the CBT tape, and I have

Lizette, You can run an IDCAMS DCOLLECT VOLUMES(*) for all disk volumes and then use the MXG code (member TYPSDCOL, I believe) to analyze this info. Or look at the CBT tape for programs named DVOL, VOLS or similar that list volume free space info. Either way, empty volumes within your production

After playing with several options, I have decided that what will server me best is MXG with DCOLDSET. What I will do is sort the DSNs on VOLSER. Then Count the number of data sets per volume. Once I have the basic report VOLUME #DSNS I should be able to identify what volumes may still
