[ilugd] Inquiry : Ubuntu 10.10 live CD does not work on IBM Thinkpad R502!!!

I was trying to run Ubuntu 10.10 Live CD(Desktop edition) on my IBM thinkpad R50e, but could not succeed. My system is dual boot (Window xp and Fedora 6) Error I got is : Process 303: Glib-Warning getpwuid_r() failed due to unknown user Please help me in solving this problem!!! Sharanjit Kaur
