To be specific, in my syslog.conf deamon.notice /var/adm/messages This will send a the deamon messages including ftpd,telnetd,imapd.pop3d to /var/adm/messages. My requirement is to send only imapd and pop3d messages /var/log/imapoplog please let me know if you a suggestion.
