Have you ever considered creating a spam weather site, that would track
the daily amount of spam sent. Perhaps different people in different
locations could help supply data for their region.
I know it would be difficult to determine an accurate number but perhaps
a trend and changes could

I've used them for about a year with good results.
My volume is ~3000 emails per day.
Weekly stat for last week:
blocked using combined.njabl.org (total: 268)
blocked using sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
