It was, but it caused another bug that looks exactly the same inparticular configurations.
if anything this is a
linux bug. It drove me nuts for a few days. I ended up using the db
libs that Red Hat ships with.
linux : 1
you : 0
try to set LDFLAGS, CPPFLAGS, CFLAGS, LD_RUN_PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
Il this fail, rm the Linux db.h !!
if all fail, install FreeBSD or Solaris.

Think of it if you have many many users.

Hi,
Do you need pop, imap or both ?
Cyrus is really cool, does LMTP and sieve scripting
Cyrus have limitations on filenames (login names in fact) : no in
names (this can be overridden with another char, as '/' for example)
Courier does everything you want
Courier is build by a lot of small
a new server, you have to read your mails once (for
netscape to discover you tree), then go back in mail properties and
choose the folder.
ps : fo those who think netscape is crap... Juste try latest Netscape
6.2, it really kick's ass !

something like :
user.foo
user.foo.Trash

Here is the solution we implemented :
smtp-in - anti-virus - smtp-queue (postfix) - cyrus

What do folks on this list do about redundancy? I can set up two
