Did you say 1.4.5?  *whistles*  That is a *really* old client.  Try
upgrading to a newer version.  Version 2.1 was just released, and prior
to that, 2.0.8 was available.  The problem you described was fixed in
one of the earlier 2.0 releases (I think at least by 2.0.5).

On a different note... You might not have noticed yet, or maybe it isn't
a problem on your system, but the Simeon IMSP server allows addresses books
with mixed case characters in them.  The CMU IMSP server does not, which
means that any address book with mixed case characters will still exist,
but not be available for use under the new server.

I patched our server to allow mixed case characters.  If this is something
you are interested in, let me know.
