I think smpt-sendmail is weird. I discovered why it was not working. I

Anyway it still does not work for Usenet groups. Is there a normal
explanation about this?

I want to say that the error is not displayed anymore, and the message
seems to be posted, but it is actually not posted.

When starting Gnus, it prompts my different passwords for my
mailboxes, but never for my news server. However, this news server
needs an authentification.
I have crypted my .authinfo file (resulting in .authinfo.gpg, a
crypted .authinfo),
I have tried to use Gnus agent a couple of times but so far it hasn't
been exactly a pleasant experience. I have pretty much default settings
and all my nntp servers are agentized. Now, in Group buffer I go plugged
(Jj), check new news (g), download them (Js) and go unplugged (Jj)
again. Fine.

Just a guess. Did you set nntp-marks-is-evil to t? If so, maybe you
could set it to nil and try again.
It's nil, default. Thanks anyway.

Sometimes when i send email (with UTF-8) to a mailing list server using
Sendmail as MTA, they convert my Content-Transfer-Encoding from
quoted-printable to 8bit. So i thought that 8bit is better than
quoted-printable. Well still i cannot sure what it is better for
Content-Transfer-Encoding.
