Hacking season has opened! Presenting to you: version 2.7.1, a version which adds NO user-visible changes at all! However, my craving for performing brain-surgery on my dearest child has once again been satisfied. I've rewritten a number of internal mechanisms. The upshot of this is that 2.7.1 should be between 10 and 20% faster than 2.7.0. It is also very likely that I broke some features along the way. Please try out this release and give me some feedback.
