Pete,
You are certainly right about that! It should have read mixing with WCCW
WIBA. It was KOLY mixing with WOOD KGLO. Major bungle on my part.
Trying to write down too many things too fast. Proof reading is not one of
my strong points. Anyway--they are all relogs. Nothing new.
IRCA,

Tucson Arizona, right off Flowing Wells road, near Prince Road. And I had
just walked into the school office and everyone was going

Hello,
TP conditions greatly improved around 1450 UTC, the upper MW band opened up
from some Japanese stations. JOUK 1503 with a fair signal and 1422 JORF also

was heard on 1386 with a weak signal. Stations with
Quite a step down from yesterdayNHK2 on 747, 774 and 828 had
reasonable audio at times, though seemed better at 1400 than
1500UT. Patches of audio also noted on 594, 1287 and 1503 at various
checks. (note the Japanese predominance) Otherwise, there were
quite a lot of carriers, but none

This is an example of what a Phased BOG System can do since I live 13 miles

Monday night I had some of the Monday night FB game, and last night I was
assuming they'd be carrying Coyotes Hockey, but KAZM carried a BKB game

I've enjoyed reading this thread that Willis started...off-topic, but
certainly of high interest to all. My own memory: I was a sophomore at

suddenly students began to migrate like lemmings toward a BW TV that was

someone else there, but unable to ID them. Knowing how conditions change
during the night, I phased KFAB down into the noise, set the timer and went

As I watch the U.S. Thanksgiving day football games...
I am reminded that the NFL was widely criticized for playing a full
schedule of games on Sunday, Nov. 24th. Pete Rozelle justified it by
claiming that the Kennedy family wanted the games to go on.
Does anyone know or remember, if the NBA

KAZ,
I have not noticed KAZM running day power at night here. If I phase KKOH
I get either KNOM or WBBM. KAZM is rare here.

Mike,
Great going on KOAI 1110. I hear them from time to time, but I see few
loggings elsewhere. Great catch! Keep after it, you will nab KAGV.

Good to see you logging KTNN ! It is also good to see you and others back
east trying for some of my common stuff here. KTNN runs CNN nx on the hour
and I don't think they've switched to night rig very often for at least a
month.

I was trying to null CINW Montreal at shortly after midnight EST when they
surprised me by announcing they were going off the air for maintenance
purposes, and promptly disappeared. Sister station CINF-690 is also off.
No idea how long this will last, though.

Neil,
When KAZM is running at higher power, I get them pretty well here. I haven't
noted them as any more than a whisper, though I will say that I don't generally
listen early in the evening. If they miscalculate sunset by a few hours, I
wouldn't even be aware of it.
