Guy, I know the old CFL's I have do cause carriers up and down the dial, if the radio is in the same room. At less than 25 cents each for a standard bulb, I don't see any need to buy a CFL anyway. Too many gismo's in today's world cause RF QRM. 73, Patrick

What amazes me is just how strong their IBOC was compared to their modulation on 1380. At times I could hear the carrier, but had trouble hearing what was being said, due to low modulation and other signals on the frequency. Yet the IBOC was pounding away loudly especially on 1370. -- Rick

Not for long. 4 for 99 cents, I bet you have to replace them often. The GE Reveal, and the Sylvania counterpart are bright and white. My tests show they don't come remotely close to rated hours, and I was running them 24/7 which means they should last WELL past rated hours. This test was run
