That's right the 800 CJJC was much newer and is different station than
the 850 CJJC. The old CJJC from 1965 was 1 KW too, and CW if I remember
correctly.

Wow. Again, call signs and frequencies that are forever burned into ones
memory. CJOC was logged here when they were a big rocker, later to become
country...I do have some of their FM stickers for the upcoming IRCA convention
in ColoradoCHAT was logged here as well, but just once or
Mike,
That whole list were QSLs from the collection. So much history there.
Glad you enjoyed seeing the list. I did not remember all of them. I had

Scott and Dennis. What a nice walk down memory lane. I remember KTNT
1400 Tacoma. I QSL'd them years ago too. There is a lot of history out
there.
Thanks for sharing.

Not to rain on Dennis' parade, but in my experience the typical

Hi all (especially ULR tinkerers)...
I have my Tecsun PL-606 open, as I had to replace a broken whip antenna, and
while I have it open I figure I may as well modify the FM/SW plug to also
accept LW/MW antennas. I know there have been a couple PDFs published
detailing how to do it with the

Bert,
I have the map listed on eBay. A few months ago I sold a 1945
Washington-Oregon road map on eBay.
The map had a greyhound dog logo on it and the map was from a small oil company
in Eugene OR.
Two fellows wanted it for their collection and it jumped up from $27.00 to

Hi Stephen,
In answer to your question, the PL-606 has an external FM-SW antenna
jack which can presumably be rewired like the Laurie Mann modification
to the PL-310, allowing the use of external AM plug-in antennas to
replace the stock loopstick. But since nobody (that I'm aware of) has

My Father-In-Law asked me the other day if I wanted a box of old maps he

think some, if not all, of them might end up somewhere for sale. I have no idea
how to do eBay, but I guess I could learn.
