Quite an amazing morning, all Down Under, but so many of them heard, most
fist time for me! Just about every channel had strong het at first, I ran
out of time trying to see if there was audio on them all. 1116 4BC the main

Greetings everyone,
Another good morning here at the coast, but this morning it was DUs
DUsDUs for the most past. Per the report from Dennis, it did not sound
like it propagated inland though.
I got up a bit late, at 1355 and the dial was alive with signals.

Steve,
Glad to hear that the DU's made it over the mountains. Often they don't.
I guess it depended on where the person was. There were a lot of DUs,
plus a lot of other stuff too. I was a bit surprised, as a strong DU
morning often the Northern Asians would be knocked out, but not today. I

Bill, with all due respect, I've often wondered what seriously out of date
sites you use to get your info from?
CJUL has been silent for at least several years and CJRB hasn't played any
thing resembling AC at least when I've heard them during the last few years.

Yes I wondered about those Cyprus hours.
I've noted few if any Morocco signals in reviewing Perseus files from

It was a dismal morning for TPs here. There were about two dozen weak
carriers, which peaked at about 1345. I had traces of audio on 693

was either missing or just a carrier. The geomagnetic storm was

And now I'm sitting on 1450, trying to find out who this is that I've heard

don't want to let this one (or the Cincinnati Reds station I heard on 1340!)
get away.

Hi. Topazdesigns even says that they are AC/EZL/REL. Along with 950 am have
only heard them w/ classical music. Perhaps this could be updated to this
format. Thanks.

Checked 1470 and got a pileup of 3 or 4 stations, one was Country music
but on an ESE/WNW bearing, not anywhere near Kansas...
Got the electrical/electronic part of the active rod where I want them

Due to failure of a key electronic component (aka my alarm

They do, but so does WRCO in Richland Center, according to the Milwaukee
Brewers affiliate list that I printed off radiotime.com. That's why I'm
especially curious to know whtich one I have.
And the Reds list shows two affiliates on 1340, WXFN in Muncie, IN and WIZE in
Springfield, OH.

I just returned from a 6 day jaunt to my DX cottage on Haida Gwaii (Queen
Charlotte Islands), off the north-west coast of BC. I read with interest
Bruce's comments, this morning. On the contrary, I was most impressed with
the TP reception this morning, listening between 12:55 and about 15:00 UTC
Hi Walt,
Maybe you're checking LWBC after 1300 utc. 180 Rossii currently signs off at
1300, and is regularly heard before then, such as this Monday morning.
