An interesting evening developed around 11:00PM Newfoundland time last evening
(Tuseday evening).
Signals at the time seemed to shift and intensify from Eastern Europe and
particularily the Russian regions.
As Gary's report from the West coast indicated hearing the Rossii stations
Listened from 1255-1335 utc and conditions was up over yesterday. Carriers
were heard on 279, 594, 603, 657, 666, 693, 747, 774, 828, 837, 873, 882, 891,
936, 945, 963, 972, 1008, 1017, 1053 and 1566. Only two with audio JOAB-693
and JOUB-774.

Medium wave Asiatic signals never seemed to get out of the gate here
this morning, with the exception of a few unusual performers with
occasional fair audio (603-HLSA and 936-Anhui, around 1345). The
Japanese big guns especially were down in strength, and neither of the

One new station for this season with JOQR Japan coming in late this
morning with music and talk. JOUB 774 heard with www address at
1414 for NHK.

fall dx season besides the dates on the calendar .

past two evenings with amazing strength while still fully in daylight as per

4845 evening hard to be positive with WWCR on 4840, but 4845 seemed not
there. There were over 60 TA carriers last night but only a few had audio.

stations back at good strength, especially over the lower half of the band.

Once again an Asian focus this morning, with no DU audio noted. On
the other hand, like yesterday, quite a number of TP carriers and the
following in audio:
Japan: 567, 594, 693, 747, 774, 828, 1287
S.Korea: 972
China: 1206
