After the sun went down in New England I was trying to pick up WHO in Des
Moine...which is hard to get with WBZ blasting in on 1030AM.
I picked up something strong on 1040 that sounded like a religion
program"the love line" or something...selling a book on love dynamics.
DIdn't sound
Over on Facebook someone has identified the song being looped as Don
Gibson’s “oh lonesome me” and said it doesn’t match the WKCM stream. The
WSKW stream no longer works, but the tips from Facebook and the people
reporting it Herr would suggest it is WSKW

could this be WSKW on night power with automation that has locked up? a
country song with 1 or 2 notes on repeat could sound, well.. weird. All the
reports are form the east coast and it seems the farther out west one goes
the worse the signal gets. We've ruled out WCCS and WYLL.. I've checked
Still going strong at 0030 edt. WCCS is now sports talk at this hour, and
WYLL had J. Vernon McGee Bibl stuff before 2400. Jim Renfrew, Clarendon NY

Your experiences 1410-1420 were very similar to mine today, right down
to most of the channels that had audio.
1450-1500 UTC was much different here - I had no TPs at the high end of
the dial, except for pitiful little carriers on 1323 and 1566. Below
1000, things were similar to
Correction - the date should have been Nov 3 instead of Nov 2

I'm a little Late getting in here…but I hear it here too, in London, Ontario @
2315 EDT. Sounds like a Male singer with a Low Voice kinda chanting…..Repeated
over and over!!
Not very Strong, but the same piece of music repeated….weird!

It's back at 2300 EDT - some sort of glitch with the feed or the sound
equipment, with a lyric "hold onto me", 10 seconds silence, and then
repeated. It dominates the channel. It's not WCCS and I think I hear
religion from Chicago, too. Ah, the days with only KSL; it's nearly
graveyard now.
Today's TP DX session was unusual when you consider:
- Nearly all of the action took place between 700 and 1000 kHz.
- The strongest TP signal was China on 981
- Chinese stations in general were better than normal
- HLAZ was barely there today, despite all the fun further down the dial

I have it here too. Deep in the noise, it almost sounds like chanting, but
I think it's a short music snippet that's stuck in a loop as you mentioned.

The PEI DXpedition group is listening to 1160 at the moment (00:53) and a
station seems to caught in a loop, playing the same snippet of music over
and over again. Anyone else hearing the same? 73, Walt

https://www.radioretenloquetienes.com/ can be had here in IL, but weakly so
far and just good enough for me hear what usually is screaming SS
preaching. They can be bothered by Chicago pirate W807 which is currently
on about 1710.082 and which I don't get well at all, likely being too far
