Hi, Does iText support OpenType Japanese font? I have installed iTextAsian.jar and iTextAsianCmaps.jar. And I can generate PDF with TrueType based Japanese fonts. But I'm having trouble with using OpenType(CFF) Japanese font.
When I use OpenType font, iText generate PDF without any error messages. But Acrobat Reader 9.1.2 cannot display the text. Interesting thing is, Preview.app on MacOSX can display that PDF without any problem. Also, if I open the PDF with Preview.app and save as new file, even Acrobat Reader can display it. So it seems that iText is writing data to PDF, but there are some problem in PDF format.
