I know that Tor mentioned that he does a lot of multitasking/context
switching and because of that Mylyn didn't work for him. However, you
can turn off context management, but you lose a lot of value when you
do that, since it makes commits easier, and makes it easier to resume
a task when you do
You might want to have a look at netbeans.tv. There are plenty of
demos there. Don't forget to change the keymapping to Eclipse. It'll
cut down on the learning curve while you get acquainted with Netbeans.
