Given the professional evolution of Joe, I'm surprised how long it
took for him before he stops participating to Javaposse.
I think it reflects both the commitment to his old passions and
especially his great loyalty in friendship. Your friends are lucky!
Hats off Joe! Your always passionate cont

Except totally okay with a little soccer and F1 :)
Thanks Joe - and everyone else in the Posse, of course - for all the
time you've put into this thing.

Joe, you were the biggest reason I listened to the Posse (I'll still listen
I promise). You provided the devil's advocate that I think every developer
needs to really think about something. I hope you can still make it to
CodeMash!

It'll be interesting to see how the flow/dynamics change going forward.
We noticed it on our podcast when we lost one of our regular cast, and
our show is/was much much younger than JP as well.
I count myself one of the rare few who started listening back with
JavaCast #1, and being mentioned
Oh, and that guy who does the Java Memorizable site - can remember his
name. How's he getting on?

It's a shame that Joe's leaving. His views were refreshing. Still, it
must be great news for Brian Ehman. Fifteen years he's been an intern and
finally an opening has appeared. I hope he's up to it! :)

Consider me super sad that Joe is leaving. Joe was one of the biggest
reasons that my wife enjoyed listening to the podcast along with me.
It's been a blast, Joe! Thanks for helping make the Java Posse so
great.

I am a 'hardcore fan' of the Posse :) I have listened to every single
episode! Joe thank you for your contribution, you'll be very missed!
Now everybody will agree on everything, the show will be boring again...
Nahh just kidding you guys are great :)) Thank you so much for the show!

True story: I met a guy named Brian Ehman, the first thing I asked was
whether he was the Java Posse Intern. Turns out he was!
This didn't happen at the roundup, either.
On topic - thanks for all your contributions, Joe! Good luck in all you do.
Don't be a stranger!

I wasn't too surprised that Joe decided to leave as many of his remarks for
a while have implied that he wasn't sure if he was that enthusiastic about
the subject matter anymore. Still I would wish him all the best with his
future plans.

I Will miss you Joe, but on the bright side, we might get to find

It will be hard to claim journalistic balance when patents are
discussed herafter.

Hello Joe,
I have been listening to the podcast for a number of years now, and I
truly enjoyed listening to it, especially conversations you have been part
of.
You usually came with a different and a very interesting perspective
to the discussed topic, which always was very enriching.
+1 for a design podcast Joe!

Yes he will be missed indeed ... I felt it was going to happen, though I
didn't really think it was going to be done now.
Oh well that's life, I wish you the best Joe and I hope the posse will
remain a good source of everything that it is today!
Thanks Joe :)

I have been listening since the Java Cast days and feel Joe has brought a
lot to the podcast, I hope things will still work without Joe to argue with.
Thanks Joe

I'd like to add my thanks to Joe for contributing to a stand-out

Java Posse was my first podcast I was listening to, and is still one
of my favorites. Not only is the podcast technically really well made,
the four Java Posse members are a good fit. Jon is the salt in the
Java Posse soup, playing the role of Advocatus Diaboli very well.
Thanks a lot Joe for taki
