HI there Victor,
was interested in your comment about Microsoft giving a free tech ticket, due to us not
being able to use safe mode to check system. I wish I knew this a few years ago. I had to
pay something like $50 for tech help. Of course, I had to have a family member perform

Thanks!

Tammy,
Load the music you want in your play list and make sure you are in the play
list window. You can do this by pressing control tab until you hear, play
list editor.
Now do a control s to save.
Give your play list a title and choose the directory you want to save it in.
That's all there is
Denny,
Thanks for the instructions. I'll give it a try.

Hey Guys,
I am experimenting a little with Outlook Express. At times I have Outlook and
Outlook express both
running on my computer. Right now when I get a new email in either of the two,
it makes the same
sound for both. Is there a way that I can have Outlook Express make a
different
The short answer is no you can't. The reason is because that's a windows
sound separate from either email client. Do yourself a favor my friend and
pick a program and use it leaving the other go.

I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably screw that one up
too.
Walt, do you think I should e mail Microsoft about this? Thanks for your
opinion. Marilyn

Donnie,
There is only one way I know of to do this, but it takes a lot of work and
then sometimes you will miss an incoming message in Outlook.
What I did is to assign a different sound to each list I am subscribed to
and to each person I receive email from regularly. Then I turned off the
play
Lois,
I have the same problem, but mine normally occurs at start up. I have been
in touch with Freedom about this since version 8 came out, but they haven't
figured out why it is happening yet.

Thank you Denny. It sounds like more trouble than it's worth. I'll probably
just stick with
Outlook since that's the program that I know most about.
See ya,

Hi Denny,
I don't even have Jaws 8. I have the latest update before 8. I recently
did a repair with no effect. I hope you hear from FS soon.
Take care,
Lois

There is a way in Outlook to change the sound of incoming e-mail. I've
given it a quick look, and can't find it at this time. There must be
something about how to do it in help.

Annette

Go into your windows temp folder and delete the items in there. I had this
before and FS told me to do that..

Hi I'm new to the list and I wanted to introduce myself and ask a question.
My name is Kerry and I'm from the sunny Caribbean island of Barbados. I've
been a jfw user since 2.0 and I'm just loving all the new things that have
come out since them.
The scenario I needed to put to the group is
I don't reboot that often, but when I do, Jaws will crash about 90% of the
time. I have to load Windoweyes to close out the application errors. My
problem didn't start until I installed Jaws 8.
I am seeing more bugs with version 8 that they haven't figured out either,
but at least they are
There are instructions on the Jaws Users home page on how to do this.

Hey Denny,
I use the Clean-Up 451 program often. Does the program that I am using do the
same thing that you
are talking about by typing the word %temp% into the run box?
