I've heard there is a bug in OmniPage (version 16) which prevents
Acquire Text working from Word, and I wonder if this is the cause of
your biggest complaint. There is a patch for the bug on the Nuance

Go to your tools menu, alt t, then arrow down to view alerts, or just type
the letter l.
