I think if he goes into office does a letter navigation he should find it.

One way to temporarily silence JAWS is to turn off speech in the verbosity
dialog. First move into the program you are going to use to record. Press
Insert with V to bring up the dialog. Press the end key to move to the end
of the list of items and you will move to the speech
use insert v and then do the end button and it will show the symntheizer
shift tab hit enter and shift tab once more and hit enter again

I have my new pc with XP PRO and jaws 8.0.2173 installed. I don't hear the
messages automatically red in preview pane anymore. On my old pc it was ok. I
hear just read only edit. This is my configuration it OE concerning this

From within the Keyboard Manager, select the script titled MuteSynthesizer.
Press CTRL+A to add a keystroke; type in your desired hot key; and press
