Hello all!
I'm sorry for the vague subject, but I just want to inform you that the

I posted a question to the list yesterday and never saw it come through and
haven't seen any responses, so I'll try again.
I did not do a custom install with JAWS this last time, so I didn't get the
languages installed. I'm wondering if there is a way to add languages
without installing JAWS
My first version of Jaws was 1.1 on Windows 3.1. The Jaws update that I
liked the best was version 3.31 in which you could finally read the text on
web pages...

Had a strange problem with the beta 12 and that was the window key would not
bring up the start menu for a while. Shut down JFW 12 and went to JFW 11.
Than brought up the start menu and went back to JFW 12 and the window key in
12 is now at present working.

Hello all.
Although I got used to the actual ribbon I do prefer the virtual ribbon
menus in JAWS 12. It works very well and I can get to what I want
quickly and efficiently.

Hi all.
It's enabled by default. You need a program that uses the ribbon. Take
Microsoft Office 2007/2010, WinZip 14.5, and Windows 7 as examples. Once
you have all that just press the alt key. JAWS will say Virtual
Ribbon, followed by the first tab, which is usually the home tab. If
you then
Go to Micorsoft word and go to the ribbon menu. It has a combo box and drop

How can I get Windows Live mail to say the word collapsed so I know the
messages are a parg of a message conversation when arrowing through messages in
jaws v11? When I right arrow just to check I can only then tell whether this is
a single message or a conversation. I am using Windows seven.
The virtual menus are awesome! I had gotten used to the ribbons in Word for
most tasks. However, in some groups, I move on to the next group without
knowing there are more items in the current group. The thing I have hated
about the ribbons is the inconsistency in the interface. It is hard
