on it or hit application key, and arrow up to copy short cut, hit enter.

I think what you're looking for is the information one can find under
Windows Task Manager. Two ways you can bring it up:
1. Ctrl+Shift+Escape key sequence -or-
2. Ctrl+Alt+Delete key sequence
From there you can examine various information on system resources.
