I returned the new computer I had and upgraded my acer 32 bit to windows seven.
When I was talking to jaws tech support about the new computer, they had me
change something about the view in windows seven that they said would cause
jaws problems, unfortunately I don’t remember how to change that
Thanks a lot.

Hi all:
I have Caspersky but my windows machine had to do a system restore and that
either corrupted or deleted Kaspersky's black list of program licenses so now
it keeps annoying me with a pop up and I can't fix it because its inaccessible
and I can't uninstall it because it won't respond.
Hi all:
Just wondering:
I have some podcasts I was subscribed to in the Mac and I'm using Winamp
instead of iTunes for my music player now on Windows.
What's an accessible podcast catcher for Win7?
Thanks,
Jorge

Dear Friends,Just got this in, and wanted folks to see it.
Here is a rather disquieting article about the accessibility, and lack of it,
for some users of Internet Explorer 9. I copied the page and pasted it below,
or you can go to:

The blank page problem they mention occurs even with the latest build of
Jaws but can be resolved with unloading and restarting it.

Winamp itself has the facility to subscribe and listen to podcasts.
You'll find it in one of the tabs.

I haven't been paying attention to anything that might have passed
through the list about facebook and JAWS because I'm not interested in
facebook.
However, a friend has decided she might be, so if anyone can give me
some tips, I'll pass them on.
Thanks so much.

I am still using IE8 and have considered upgrading but I am wondering why
should I? What are some really good features in IE9 that are not available
in IE8? And gee, wiz, after reading this article it seems I have to do a lot
just to get it up and running properly on my win 7 machine. (smile)
I've been using it for two or three weeks, and am also having no problems.
Cheers

Hi Alex,
Over all I liked IE 9. There was just one site that I have to use and
JAWS could not find the one section of the screen I needed. It was one of
those drop down menus that one must use the JAWS curser to read. Have you
had any issues finding things with the JAWS curser?

Hi
To uninstall IE9, go to control panel, then programs, and click the
area that says show updates. IE9 will then show up in the list of programs.
When uninstalling the IE9 you will be asked if you want to go back to IE8.

I installed it on both my computers. It works fine on 1 computer but on the

update came out. I'm thinking about trying it again on the computer that
currently has IE 8.
Cheers.
