True, however you do not have to use notepad. If you copy and paist into the
address bar you can edit right there. For example in IE I would use control O
then paist the address. Go to the beginning and using right arrow make the
changes as I find them.

there are a few of them. one can be downloaded from somewhere on
www.tinyurl.com - the Tiny URL that one sometimes sees. there's another
one called bit.ly, and perhaps a Google search for it will give

I think you can do it very well.
1. go to start-all programs -jaws xx -explore Jaws- Explore my settings
(where xx your Jaws version)
2. Find and copy the file wich you want to the USB, Memory Card or anything.
3. Do the same way with the pc at your work, and paste copied file into the enu
The Google method sounds good to me mainly since I can't be bothered with
twitter. It's just a personal choice and nothing more.

perhaps the client just goes and gets the shortened url from the
selected Web site: but, in any case, I should say that the shortened
url's facilities are available independently of Twitter. (and there's
another one called shortul, at http://shorturl.com/ etc.

I have had only limited success with the update feature for JAWS in
the help menu. It works better to download the proper version of JFW
from Freedom Scientific.

Hi list,
The new book share audio MP3 books are awesome.
Whatever text to speech software that book share uses is great.
I just wanted to let the Jaws users list know about it.
You can play the books on the BARD digital audio book players if you put them
in a folder called audio+podcasts.
Thanks partner.

Hi list,
I am telling you this story so that if the same problem occurs again,
perhaps someone who has had the same experience, can suggest a solution. I
have a win7 computer, jaws 13, and IE9. Right now. Jaws is talking
beautifully. However, on Friday morning, when I turned on my computer, after
Jaws said
I have seen a number of times where Jaws stops working and just moving the
mouse a little bit will let Jaws regain focus and all will be well again.
This doesn't happen very often and some machines seem to be more prone to
the problem than others. You might give this a try the next time it happens
Hi, I downloaded one of Bookshare's MP3 or audio book, but then couldn't
figure out how to bring it up in iTunes. Would you give me the steps? I am
using Jaws 13 and I think the latest iTunes with blind tunes.
Thank you very much! Vicky
