I just tried your suggestion if you press the gráv key in Notepad or
Outlook Express, it places a gráv symbol there but, Jaws reads it as space.
I checked it by pressing the 5 key on the numpad 3 times with the gráv /
space highlighted got character 96 which is the ascii number for
