Hello list Members:
I had a job interview earlier today with a company that uses the Goldmine
software program.
I am fairly certain that Goldmine and Jaws are compatible. However, it would
be good to make contact with anyone on the list who uses Goldmine, to find
out if there are any
Hi Justin,
Have you looked at the Jaws help topics?

If you are running XP then the command is net stop jfwservice with out the
quotes. I believe under win7 this command no longer applies because jaws does
not run as a service.
To start jaws under XP it is net start jfwservice with out the quotes.

Insert + F2 brings up a list of managers more than most mortal men will ever
need. I'm thinking you might want either quick settings or the settings
center. I am not certain of which but it's in there without a doubt. FYI
please try to have a more descriptive subject line in the future because
Hi, easy way to find the settings center is to do an insert + 6 or JAWS key +
6 that is the number 6 in the number row.

Just curious if there is a way to make Jaws come up sooner.
I have it running as a service on my Xp machine. My machine boots into
Windows in around thirty seconds, but after I get the Windows chimes, I wait
another minute for Jaws 14 to load.
Don't worry about what people think--they don't
Cool, I just tried that and it works. I hope it works via a remote access

Windows+JAWS+F4 works perfectly under Win7.
That keyboard shortcut works regardless whether JAWS is running as a service or
not.

Hi all.
I am needing to use access 2007, with jaws 13 or 14. I know how use

How or who can help me a little bit
Greetings all,
I have a quick question about the text analyzer feature. Is there a way
for me to tell it that two spaces after a period is not a spaces run?
Thanks,

Hi Greg,
The Vocalizer voices available to you at this time do not include the option
for pitch change. Until that ability of pitch change in Vocalizer is available,
I suggest you consider using the Speech and Sounds Manager to assign a sound

You can

Greg,
You should have the profile loaded for Vocalizer when you then go make this

maybe then can tandem in and help get this set up.
