I have a Windows 7 script which I have copied and changed the product key
but it doesn't seem to work and comes up with the initial installation
wizzard which should all go through the script.

The only thing I can think of is to press right arrow on all of the folders
that you see. If any folders appear under one of them, press right arrow on
those folders too.

see if you get that problem. Also with the browser open hit alt+ f
