Good news, somewhere in the over 100 updates the driver in question was upgraded to the most recent version and a repair of JAWS solved the problem. It took almost an hour and a half to install all of the updates but it is functional and life is only slightly less aggravating. Thank you again

Never tried ctrl Z for that purpose. When I want to recover a deleted email, I go to the deleted folder and either read it right there, or if I decide I really wanted to keep it, I use ctrl shift V to move it back to the in-box on another folder for permanent storage. -Original Message-

Have you downloaded the Humanware Companion, that might help you convert those files from that type to at least wav, after then, you might want to try something like audacity to convert the wav file to MP3. the Humanware Companion can be found at www.humanware.com. I hope this helps. Timothy
