It sounds like you are downloading the wrong version, there is a 32 and 64 bit
version.
You need to find out which version of Microsoft Windows 7 you have e.g. the 32
or 64 bit version and then download the correct version of JAWS for that
operating system.

It will run that way, but if you have a power failure, better hope what
you were just working on was saved recently as the computer will shut

Try pressing CTRL F1 - this should turn your ribbons back on. Pressing F1
accidentally will close the ribbons. This may solve your problem.
