Mike,
It would be up to the user as to which third-party dictionary they wanted to
use.
Windows will not select one by default.

Hello,
It is sort of accessible. I have encountered a few pages where I am not
able to move by links or other navigatable elements. I also am unable
to read back what I have typed into an edit field. All it ever says is
blank.

Open up JAWs, do an alt tap and arrow down to basics.
Tab around there and you will find the auto start options.

Personally I like a USB headset from Radio Shack called Giga bit. No drivers
other than standard and as such no compatibility issues with JAWS. They do
have more features in 32 bit systems than 64 bit because I have never found
updated drivers for them, still they work well and have a 10 foot cord
David,
Sounds good, thanks. Heading out on my walk but maybe if you are
around after lunch Skype me as I have a couple of questions probably
not totally JAWS related.
Thanks

Sounds like Internet Explorer 8 to me, which is the one that originally came
with Windows 7. I think the download manager came in IE9. Control-J listed
the internet feeds. I think it might be alt-J now.

Does anyone have experience using the Data at rest program Bitlocker?
Many DAR programs are not accessible since they run before JAWS can be started,
but BitLocker is a native Windows application, so there's a chance it might be
accessible.

Go to the system trail, right click or hit the application key on the Tiny
spell icon, arrow down and select settings. Tab to the spelling tips dialog
box, you want to check arrow down then hit ok.
Now, when you hear the missed spelled word just arrow down through the list
