This is great! I save lots of the messages from this list and this kept me
from having to repost the same question. Thanks so much, as I am a new user
to Firefox.

Leonard,
The files that you have saved in your MY Documents folder, or any other
folder on your computer will remain untouched while installing Office 2013.
Only if you had some saved in the Microsoft Office folder in Program files,
then they would probably be deleted.

How do I tell TB not to mark any incoming messages as junk, especially
not messages from mailing lists? At present, it's marking all my mailing
list messages as junk. I can ignore the marking, or change the marking,
of course, but I'd rather TB didn't make any such decisions for me.
Thanks.
I'm running Jaws 11.2 and am thinking of installing Safari as my internet
browser, are they likely to work well together?
Thanks,
Joy

Probably not. The only browsers that are known to work well with JAWS are
IE and Firefox.

I don't like all the different voices JAWS uses. So I configure all the
voice aliases to be the same. But there are a couple of different voices
JAWS uses for which I cannot figure out which alias to modify.
When I focus on an object such as a list view or tree view, JAWS reads

Yeh, glad it worked for you. I have lots of advice, its all worth about 2
cents, that Windows-Pause is just another of those built-in shortcut keys
for Windows that when you know them, it can make life a bit easier than
trying to dig around in the menus for stuff.

Dana, I don't know exactly if this is what you want, but you can set the Jaws
voice to be the same no matter what it reads. Or you can have it read
differently for some thing if you desire. I just use the Alt V keystroke when
in Jaws and tab through the selections. I have mine set to read

I was looking at either installing Office 2013 or 2014, so I contacted FS
Tech Support about it. See their response below. I am interested in
hearing from folks if FS has overcome the limitations in Office 2013 or
2014.

Hello Gary,
Thank you for that info.
I was going to install it this week, but I'll wait.
Thanks again,

In just one word: No. Installed Safari in Windows twice, and on neither
occasion did it work with the then current version of JAWS. (Apple's
main interest is not in Windows.)

Thanks Flore! Have you tried any other browsers aside from the most popular
two: Explorer and Fire Fox?
