This tread has been around a long time.
Finally I got interested, once I saw you used a jaws command to open it.
I believe any command that uses the insert key.
Thanks,
Hi,
Sometimes, when I insert a thumb drive into the left side thumb drive port,
Jaws says, That this port works slow and to plug the thumb in another port.
So, now I know which is my 2.0 port, and the right side of this DELL
Latitude laptop is the 3.0 is the faster port.

Hi Beverly,
To launch Research It, press Insert plus space. You will then hear
two clicks. At that point, hit the letter R, and Research It will
open. I hope this helps.

Anyone on here can feel free to correct me, but I don't think there's
very much difference between a USB 2.0 and 3.0 port. It sounds like
the colors are different, but other than that, they're probably alike

Hi,
Actually, USB 3.0 ports are blue, and the 2.0 are black. Helpful hint if
someone can see some or if you have sighted help.

The only way I have been able to tell is to take a USB 3 device and plug it
in. When you plug in to a USB 2 port, it tells you it can run faster in a
USB 3 port. When plugging it into a USB 3 port, it says nothing.

Call the computer manufacturer's Technical Support Number with the
computer's model number. They will be able to tell you which ports are USB
