Leonard, Ctrl-E does invoke the search feature on a Windows 7 machine when MS-Word is not up and running. With MS-Word, Ctrl-E is then allowed to act as expected in MS-Word. So your default keyboard layout file in your user and shared settings should have Ctrl-E as the keystroke, and not so

Ed, I am thinking that it has something to do with the document itself, be it where it originated from, or exactly which PDF program was used to produce it or whatever. However, not all PDF's will open in the AV page view, some will open normally, or at least this is what I am experiencing.

Hi Ed, You are right, JAWS will not read a PDF in AV page view, and I am not sure what that means, but here's what you can do to read the document. You have possibly 2 choices: 1. If you have Open Book installed on your computer, you can print the document to the Freedom Export Printer, which

Hi Kevin, Under the Navigation tab, when you have items in your quarantine, it will tell you that there are 1 or 2 or whatever threats in quarantine, and offer you the opportunity to delete them and some other choices. I have only seen this one time, just after upgrading to the 2016 version.
